Referral terms

The deal

Refer a UK business to Vanaways. If they take a van off us — outright purchase, hire purchase, contract hire, or finance lease — we’ll send you a £50 Amazon UK voucher within 7 days of the sale completing.

Who can refer

  • You must be 18 or over and resident in the UK.
  • Active Vanaways colleagues can’t collect personal vouchers for referrals made during work; staff link rewards are handled separately by your line manager.
  • You must have permission from the business you’re referring to share their contact details with us.

Who counts as a referral

  • A UK-registered business that has not previously bought or hired a van from Vanaways in the last 24 months.
  • The lead must come through the portal — either a direct submission or a click on your share link followed by an email capture or inbound enquiry within 60 days.
  • Cold inbound leads who happen to mention your name don’t qualify; the link is the audit trail.

When the voucher is sent

  • The reward is triggered when the business takes delivery of the vehicle and the contract is signed.
  • We’ll mark your referral as Converted in your dashboard at that point.
  • The £50 Amazon voucher arrives by email within 7 working days of conversion.

Limits

  • One voucher per referred business, not per van. Refer a fleet of 50? Still £50 for that business.
  • No cap on the number of different businesses you can refer.
  • If the business returns the vehicle or cancels within their cooling-off period, the reward may be reclaimed.

Tax

The £50 voucher is a thank-you, not income from us as an employer. You’re responsible for declaring it to HMRC if your circumstances require it.

Changes

We can change these terms with 14 days’ notice via email. The version of the terms in force at the time your referral was made is the one that applies to that reward.
